    MYSQL GROUP BY very slow 

    I had this problem in one of my project. Currently, we have more than 1 million data per user especially for the log file table. This huge data affecting our stats reporting and become slow and take too long to load the stats.

    Anywhere, I manage to overcome this issue and just want to share what I found during the optimization. There is trick you can use to optimize your query with GROUP BY statement.

    We start with normal query as below. Both query do the same objective. I just want to see if there any performance impact when I use MONTH and YEAR function in WHERE clause compared to BETWEEN … AND … for the DATETIME selection.

        git : tagging 

        Tagging merupakan salah satu ciri yang penting bagi saya ketika menggunakan source controll seperti subversion atau git. Saya agak baru dengan environment git berbanding subversion. Git kelihatan sangat barguna jika kita bekerja diluar lingkungan akses ke source control server disebabkan kita boleh commit ke local copy/clone sebelum push ke server. Berbeza dengan subversion, kita perlu sentiasa commit ke server. Jika tiada akses ke server, maka kita tidak boleh commit dan create source version pada setiap perubahan pada kod kita.

          List of HTTP status codes 

          301 – Moved Permanently

          If you notice, usually we use 302 as temporary redirect. Now.. change it to 307.

            Call to undefined function is_rtl() 

            Aiseh, bila buka saja laman web ibnuyahya.com ni tiba-tiba saja nampak white screen je. Something wrong. Cek log file, jumpa beberapa error message seperti di bawah

            Entah bila saya upgrade wordpress ni pun tak tau la. Tiba-tiba je keluar error. Ok. kalau malas nak debug. ada 2 penyelesaian sementara untuk kembalikan laman web anda kepada keadaan asal.

            1. Disable kesemua plugin.

            /wp-content/plugins/

            2. Disable line 2102 dan 2103 pada file general-template.php

            /wp-includes/general-template.php

                    Program remote STB unifi untuk kawalan TV 

                    Mungkin ada yang tertanya, mengapa ada button TV di bahagian atas remote STB unifi?. Ya, button tersebut sememangnya untuk mengawal TV anda tetapi anda perlu programkan ia tersebih dahulu sebelum dapat digunakan.

                    Berikut adalah langkah-langkah untuk programkan remote unifi.

                    1. Letak remote STB unifi dan remote TV anda secara bertentangan.

                    2. Tekan butang scan pada remote STB unifi. Tunggu sehingga LED hijau menyala.

                    3. Setelah LED hijau menyala, tekan butang Power ( warna biru ) untuk programkan butang tersebut.

                    4. LED hijau akan berkelip, menunjukkan remote STB unifi bersedia untuk di programkan.
                    5. Tekan butang Power pada remote TV untuk proses “learning” oleh remote STB unifi.

                    6. LED hijau akan berhenti berkelip, menunjukkan remote STB unifi telah berjaya di programkan.
                    7. Tekan butang Scan untuk keluar dari mode “learning”. atau tunggu sehingga LED hijau padam.
